There's A Place Series

When I began creating my There’s a Place series, I was navigating a period of turmoil, shaped by both internal and external forces. These works emerged as sanctuaries—spaces designed to offer respite, a place to simply be without the weight of pressure. They represent a search for grounding, a desire to establish roots in stability.

The series also explores the need to address regrets that accumulate along life’s journey. These pieces provide a metaphorical box—a safe space to store these regrets, not to erase or forget them, but to hold them gently, allowing reflection without their constant presence.

As the series evolved, the works transitioned to embody a lighter spirit, capturing the essence of physical surroundings and landscapes with a sense of playfulness and freedom.
