In The Desert Series

From the moment I stepped in to the desert, I was embraced by its vast light and boundless expanse.

In this series, I worked with collage and color to reflect the shifting sky—from the pale glow of dawn, to the heat-soaked brilliance of midday, to the quiet fade of dusk into darkness. Through free, gestural marks and the movement of paint across the surface, each piece found its own life.

My desire is to share the same sense of wonder, light, and calm that I experienced in that landscape.
